Certificate renewal

I.CA certificates are usually issued with a validity of 1 year. Before the certificate expires, the user is always electronically informed about the approaching end of validity and has the opportunity to request the issuance of another, so-called subsequent certificate. Using a still valid certificate, it then creates an electronic request, which is processed by the certification authority. The client will receive the subsequent certificate after paying the fee electronically, as in the case of the initial certificate.
The whole process takes place electronically and a visit to the I.CA Registration Authority is not required.
