I.CA issues qualified certificates that are intended for communication with public authorities and commercial certificates that are used for encryption and also where qualified certificates are not required.
The certificate and its associated data for creating an electronic signature can be placed directly on the computer or on a smart card. A certified smart card is required to create a qualified electronic signature. If you are interested in such a smart card, it is possible to order it here or buy it at selected workplaces of Registration authorities.
